Mosinee Community Theatre (MCT)
Providing inclusive opportunities to showcase local talent,
provide learning experiences and offer exceptional family entertainment.

Mosinee Community Theatre exists to provide opportunities for anyone who is interested to participate in the arts. Open auditions are conducted with integrity.  Casting decisions are based on a person’s talent and appropriateness for a role.  Those not cast in a show are welcome to assist with a production in other capacities: set building, wardrobe, hair and make-up, ushering, etc.
MCT creates an environment that fosters learning and growth both on and off stage.  Involvement helps build personal skills that are useful in other areas of life outside the theater.
Shows are picked based on their appeal and entertainment value to all ages.

The Drowsy Chaperone

Join MCT for a night of MIX UPS, MAYHEM and a wedding like NEVER before as a neurotic die hard theatre fan puts on a record of his favorite cast album and takes us all back into the extravagant world of the 1920's! Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another!

Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, an aviatrix, a misguided King of Romance and an intoxicated chaperone...and what more do you need for an evenings entertainment?
